The Rolls Royce Cullinan houses a thirsty and powerful 6.7-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine. This engine is borrowed from the Phantom luxury sedan. The peak output is 563 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. These whopping figures are responsible for taking the mid-sized SUV from naught to sixty mph in about 5 seconds. Top speed is governed at 155 mph and is possible with the help of the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Cullinan is an all-wheel drive but almost 90 percent of its power is delivered to the rear wheels while the front wheels get power delivery to edge out on challenging terrains. Although, the Cullinan is an exotic car that is supposed to be used for exotic events. It should not be taken on an off-road adventure, but what is stopping you, once you get a feel for the powerful engine it is only a matter of time before you sneak out off-road. An Off-Road is therefore provided, which increases the ride’s height by 1.5 inches. But even when you are not driving on a challenging terrain, the Cullinan is guaranteed to give you a pleasant experience. Rolls Royce has installed the SUV with a stereoscopic camera that judges upcoming bumps and adjusts the suspension accordingly. As a result, you get the signature Rolls Royce smooth ride.
